Organic Turmeric – our new website

Organic Turmeric Root

Welcome, to the new and improved Organic Turmeric

Whether you have just discovered us or have been with us over the years (a big thank you for your support), I would like to warmly welcome all of you to our reinvigorated website. We’ve been working very hard over the past few months to improve our logo and labeling, while simultaneously developing  new products that are not only good for you, but offer wonderful health benefits.

Our blog posts will generally be health based, but I thought it would be good to start off with some information about our new look and our new products.

Website, Logo and Labels

For those of you who have been with us a while, you may be wondering why we have gone through such a dramatic change. Well for the website, there were quite a few issues we were having, mostly from an admin perspective. For example, the old site was not setup to easily add new products or display them in a way that would be user friendly when ordering. Another problem was that the old site wasn’t professionally designed and looked like I had designed it (which is true), meaning it didn’t look very good.

Another aspect that we really wanted to add to the website was independent testing – something that is not an industry standard, nor is it something that our competitors currently do. But here at Organic Turmeric, we try to set the standard. We do what we think is in your interest, because its about health and well being, not money and profits. You can view all of the test results to date by going here.

The company logo was also never professionally designed, and when you compare it to the new logo, its quite clear that it really needed that designer touch. We feel that the new logo is much cleaner and representative of how we see ourselves, especially moving forward.

The labels basically followed suit to the new design, but had further improvements including a nutritional panel and a direct statement in regards to independent testing – an important point of difference that sets us apart from our competitors. I’m sure the labels will undergo further improvements as we evolve as a company, so we’ll  just have to see how it goes.

Biofermented Turmeric Probiotic Liquid

Fermented products are becoming extremely popular, and a fermented turmeric is actually a really good idea. The probiotic strains vary greatly from one product to another, so there is a lot of variance in the market. Our fermented turmeric liquid contains 6 billion colony forming units (CFUs) per 15ml serving along with 900mg of turmeric, 330mg of ginger and 300mg of black pepper. There are 8 different strains, giving the product impressive diversity for a probiotic.

The most significant feedback we have had about this product is how gentle it is on the digestive system. Some people, for some reason or another, can struggle with turmeric capsules, but with a fermented turmeric liquid, there does not seem to be the same issue.

We actually recommend taking the fermented turmeric liquid and the turmeric capsules if you’re looking for the best therapeutic effect, although to save on cost, you could half your capsule intake. The reason to take both is because the turmeric capsules offer a good dose of concentrated turmeric in powder form, while the fermented turmeric liquid offers turmeric in a probiotic medium.

Another option is you could take the turmeric probiotic liquid at the same time as the original turmeric capsules, which are a little cheaper than the turmeric with black pepper and ginger, thus getting the same effect, more turmeric per capsule and saving money all at once.

Organic Turmeric Latte Mix

Turmeric lattes are becoming all the rage in Australia.  They are literally popping up everywhere. We recently did an event in Sydney (Naturally Good Expo) and I think I counted at least 5 different turmeric lattes – one was from a company that did body care products, which really surprised me. To compete with this surge in the market is not easy, but we think we have a good product, so please see what you think – we’d love to hear your thoughts.

So a little about our product. All 7 ingredients in our turmeric latte are ACO certified organic, which will be independently tested every batch so you know the turmeric latte you’re buying is high quality. Lastly, we are offering the best price in the market which is $19.20 for 150g. In comparison, one product at the event we recently attended, was selling 100g for $20 and it was only 93% certified organic.

Organic Turmeric Loose Powder

This has really been a long time coming and to be honest, I should have organised it much sooner than I did (enter excuses here). Since I cannot change the past, I am quite happy to finally be putting this in our online store so you can enjoy using our organic turmeric in many other ways (at affordable price) like making a curry or to a protein smoothie. Some people also like to use it in their pet’s food or as a turmeric paste. You can also try using it on wounds, which myself and some of friends have done with great success.

So in the end….

Well that pretty much wraps it up for this post. I hope you enjoyed the read and continue to support us. From our end, we’ll do our best to keep it all running smoothly and improve our products and service. If you like, leave a comment below. Most of all, be kind, be happy and be healthy.

Wishing you well,
Garuda Nicolle

  1. Great range of products. My dad is taking the turmeric for his ailing hip. Very happy. I want to start taking it as a preventative medicine!
