Turmeric Super Smoothie With Goji Berries

Turmeric super smoothie

This turmeric and goji berry super smoothie is the perfect way to start your morning. Packed full of anti-oxidants, phytonutrients, protein and flavour. It can be difficult to add turmeric to smoothies because of that bitter taste, but once you try this smoothie, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It goes without saying, enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 unpeeled, pitted apple
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tablespoons goji berries
  • 1 teaspoon organic turmeric
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (you can up this to 4 tablespoons or even replace with almond butter)
  • 3 brazil nuts
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 3 teaspoons chia seeds

Method

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
